To see the
soul going to another sphere of consciousness, is the process that we call ‘dying’.
Death of the
physical body is at least a mysterious process to which all forms of life (animals,
humans and other living organisms) are subject. For many, this is seen as
"the feared end". Feared, because we do not understand it.
Our mind is
so little developed that the unknown inspires us with fear. Fear of attachment
to the shape of our body, not wanting to leave it and to delay as long as
possible.
Death is, if we could realize, a process that often we have gone through. We
have died many times and will die again and again. That is our karma that we
have inherited when we were created and evolved from nothing by a higher Cosmic
or Divine power, that has brought together our soul light and body light into a
whole that we call the body. For light and matter are synonymous terms.
This thought form will, once completed, embody as a person so much of the
larger plan. In essence, death is a matter of consciousness: one moment we are
conscious on the physical plane, and a moment later we are withdrawn in our
astral body and there we are actively conscious. This we call ‘going back to
the light’, back to our origin with our Divine or Cosmic Master.
Everything is eternal, both the animal consciousness and the human
consciousness. Through the centuries we are, together with our consciousness,
evolved into our present, physical form. For we will further evolve, our
consciousness will be identified with the form aspect.
Once we know
ourselves as souls, we discover that we are capable of directing our consciousness
or our sense of perception, randomly into any form, into any field or into any
direction within the form of God or the Cosmic energy.
Thus we no
longer will know death, but live to be active in all forms of consciousness.
For the average man, death nowadays is the disastrous conclusion that is the
end of all human activity, the abandoning of all proof of love and affection
and the stubborn and recalcitrant transcending into the unknown and feared.
It is
equivalent to leaving a lighted and heated room that is friendly and familiar
and where our loved ones are together, to go out alone in the cold and dark
night.
Alone and seized by fear, while you hope for the best, but nothing is certain.
Let us not forget that we, humans, for almost every night, during the time we
sleep, die on the physical plane and live and are alert elsewhere. We have
already forgotten the convenience we have acquired to exit the physical body
through dreaming. Death is finally a larger break in the life of being active
on the physical plane, one is only for a longer period "on a
journey".
However, this process is exactly the same. The only difference is that during
the sleep the magnetic wire or energy through which the life force flows, is kept
intact and forms the path along which one returns to the body.
At death, the thread of life is broken or snapped. When that has happened, the
conscious entity cannot return to the dense physical body that misses its
principle of coherence and falls apart.
Death therefore is literally "the retraction of the flows of energy from
the heart and from the head ", out of which then originates the complete
los of consciousness and disintegration of the body. The house is empty, all
activity ceases. Except for that astonishing and immediate alertness of the
spirit, that leaves the privilege in the process, so the unity of man with all
that is material.
It shows that we are part of nature itself and with nature, I mean the body of the
one life in which we "live and move and have existed".
Let us cultivate a new attitude towards death and let the new science of death
be inaugurated. Let it no longer be the only thing we cannot control and to which
we are powerless, but let us create our own new beginning and master our
transition to the other side and understand the transition to our Divine or
Cosmic origin.
I hope my contribution may strengthen the belief in the other side of our life for
someone living in a time of great danger or perhaps even on the verge of death.
And that we can embrace with love our mortal destiny out of welcome and
unwelcome circumstances and events. These eternal Divine truths must manifest themselves
in your simple everyday experience. Perform all your actions and thoughts in
the light of all those truths and cherish your thoughts in that loving
atmosphere.
Yours truly, William
